A man and a woman were injured when a car and a motorcycle collided in Pembroke on Wednesday afternoon.

The police said the accident, on Burma Road, involved a Honda Hornet motorcycle driven by a 30-year-old man from Mgarr and a Fiat 500 driven by a woman, 20, from Gharghur.

Both were injured and hospitalised, with the motorcyclist suffering serious injuries.
