A fire was raging in one of the top storey rooms of the abandoned Crowne Plaza Hotel this morning, according to a neighbour, who said that this was the second fire in a few weeks.

The building is part of the Fort Cambridge development, but has been left bricked up for several years. This is not the first time that it has been vandalised by people breaking in.
