Blessed Charles de Foucald, a French Catholic religious and priest living among the Tuareg in the Sahara in Algeria, was assassinated in 1916.
The Lay Fraternity of Charles de Foucauld in Malta is organising an evening of activities at the Poor Clares’ Monastery in St Julian’s as part of the celebrations marking the centenary of Foucauld’s death.
The programme includes adoration, a Power Point presentation on the saint, Holy Mass and refreshments. The event will take place tomorrow from 5pm to 9pm.
