CURTI. On August 28, MARIE-JOSÉ née Giuffrida, aged 94, passed away peacefully in Rome, surrounded by her daughter Stefania and son Francesco and her beloved granddaughters Claudia and Alice. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, especially her Spiteri Staines cousins in Malta. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
LAPIRA. On August 29, at Casa Antonia Nursing and Residential Home, Balzan, RICHARD, aged 91, from Attard, passed away peacefully during the night. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose, née Grima, his sister Grace and her husband Albert Cilia Vincenti, his brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Casa Antonia on Tuesday, September 3, at 8am for Balzan parish church where mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family thanks the management and staff of Casa Antonia for their care and dedication. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VASSALLO. On August 29, BERNARD, aged 78, passed away suddenly and peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be sorely missed by his wife Lucia, his brother Raymond and his wife Mariella, his sister Dorothy Rizzo, his nephews and nieces, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Monday, September 2, at 9am, at Ibraġġ parish church, followed by interment in the family grave at Siġġiewi cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
ZAMMIT GERA. FREDERICK, ex-director of Photo Images, passed away peacefully at the age of 77. He was comforted by the rites of Holy Catholic Church, surrounded by his dedicated wife and family. He left mourning his loss his loving wife Margaret, his siblings Frances, Joseph, Antida, Rita and Maria, their spouses, nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends. Frederick had a love for music, especially for his dear saxophone. His memory will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 3, at 2.30pm at St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun. No flowers by request but donations to Radju Maria will be appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

MILLER. In loving memory of FRANCIS, today the 26th anniversary of his death. At peace and reunited with his much loved wife Lilian. A wonderful father and adored grandpa, he is sadly missed by his children Madeleine, Joan, Malcolm, Caroline and their families.
