Clarence Pace appointed chief government medical officer

Clarence Pace has been appointed chief government medical officer within the Health Ministry.
The ministry said in a statement Pace is a consultant in maxillofacial surgery and head and neck surgery.
For the past nine years, he was Director General for Healthcare Services.
Minister Jo Etienne Abela thanked Walter Busuttil for his work as former chief government medical officer.
