The oil rig Energy Exerter was loaded onto the semi-submersible heavy lift ship MV Fjell in Grand Harbour, yesterday. The loading was smoothly handled by the Malta Harbour Pilots, Tug Malta and Transport Malta. A Maltese welding team will now spend the next 36 hours securing the rig to the Fjell so that the two become one. The rig will then be transported to Rotterdam for her next project. Energy Exerter and her owners, Northern Offshore Ltd, are both represented in Malta by Cassar & Cooper.
