Students from the Cooper Perry Primary School in Staffordshire, UK, are on an educational visit in Malta, as part of a twinning programme with San Anton School.

During their stay, the 21 students, aged between 10 - 11, will go on cultural visits in Gozo and Valletta, among other places, and they will spend a recreational day at the Marine Park. On Sunday, they will be hosted by families of San Anton students.

They will leave on October 12.

The first group of San Anton Grade 7 students, aged 10-11, visited Cooper Perry last June. They were exposed to different educational experiences, including working as staff in a Victorian kitchen in Lord Lichfield's Manor House.

Another visit, for at least 20 Grade 7 San Anton students, is planned for next June. The students will stay at the Wedgewood Memorial College, a manor house which caters for study visits.

The twinning programme is coordinated by Isabelle Depasquale, a Grade 7 teacher at San Anton School, who accompanies the students on the UK visit, together with other San Anton teaching staff.
