BENCINI. On April 2, at St James Hospital, Sliema, The Noble LUCY, née Dei Marchesi Testaferrata Bonici, aged 96, widow of the late Commendatore Alfred John Bencini, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her son Colonel Dr Raymond and his wife Marlena, her daughters Marlene, Frida and Denise, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sons-in-law Herbert Naudi and Udo Turscherl, sisters-in-law Mable and Grace, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves St James Hospital on Saturday at 1.15pm for Mdina Cathedral where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.45pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family wish to thank the doctors and staff at St James Hospital and Livelife for their care and dedication. God, grant her eternal rest.

CAMILLERI. On April 3, in Attard, OLGA, née Mifsud Grech, wife of Saver, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loving mother of Philip, widower of Natalina, Peter and his wife Irene, Maria and her husband Frans and Rosemarie, widow of her son Tony. She also leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Iris, Aida and Elda, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Mary’s parish church, Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Attard cemetery.

GALEA. On April 2, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELA, née Bason, widow of Edward, of Floriana. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Margaret and her husband Martin Camilleri, Noel and his wife Marie-Therese, Joseph and his wife Patricia, Carmen, her grandchildren Edward and his wife Joanna, Andrea and his fiancée Audrey, and Kyle, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9am at St Publius parish church, Floriana. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SPITERI PARIS. On April 2, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, LAWRENCE, widower of Mary Concetta, née Pirotta, of Sliema, aged 96, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his son Anthony and his girlfriend Maryanne, his granddaughters Allyse and her husband Stephen Pulis and Angele and her husband Andrew Azzopardi, his great-grandchildren Sarah and Jeanelle, Mary, widow of his brother John, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ZERAFA. On March 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTOINE, aged 46, residing at Mellieħa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Donavan, Ramon and Chantelle, their mother Tessie; Lynette and her children Antoine Jnr, and Demica, his parents Georgina and Alfred, his sister Marcelle and her husband Steven and their son, his brothers Evan and his wife Romina and their children, Daniel and his wife Dorianne and their children and Christian, relatives and friends. The funeral will be held today at Tal-Ibraġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Żurrieq cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Requiem Mass

Tomorrow’s 9am Mass at St Patrick’s church, Sliema, and the 7pm Mass at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of the soul of PHILIP AMATO GAUCI.

In Memoriam

SAMMUT – LOLA. On the first anniversary of her death. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said tomorrow at 7.30pm at the Jesuit chapel, Dar P. Manwel Magri, Tal-Qroqq (outside old university gates).

SULLIVAN. Loving and cherished memories of dear BERNARD, a beloved and loving husband and father, today being the 11th anniversary of his death. Still so sadly missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife Pat, his children Chris, Lexi and Keith and his father Joe. The 7pm Mass at St Julian’s parish church will be said for the repose of his soul. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SULLIVAN. Loving and treasured memories of our beloved BERNARD on the 11th anniversary of his demise. Deeply missed but always in our thoughts and prayers. Christine, Joe, Claire, Nikki, Charlotte, Andrew, Tacha, Sarah and Michael.
