A man suspected of a string of thefts from cars is under arrest and due to be taken to court later on Wednesday.

The police said the 39-year-old was allegedly behind thefts from cars in Paola and Cospicua in March and April. Cash, keys and mobile phones were stolen.

He is due to be arraigned before Donatella Frendo Dimech.
