A man was grievously injured when he fell off a van on Wednesday morning.

The police said in a statement the accident was reported on Triq l-Ispiera, Swieqi, at around 10am.

The man - a 42-year-old from Rabat - fell off a Layland DAF van.

Police investigations are ongoing.
