The Rabat police station will be temporarily closed as extensive maintenance works get underway.

The Police said in a statement those who need the district police's assistance should contact officers at the Mdina police station.

Administrative services have meanwhile been moved to the Mtarfa police station.

Community police services in Rabat will not be interrupted.

Anyone who needs the police's assistance but not emergency services can call on 119 or 2122 4001.
