Stephanie Zammit, a 21-year-old from Zejtun, was crowned the winner of Miss World Malta organised by Babyliss Paris 2007 last Saturday at Selmun Castle.

This contest entitles a Maltese representative to participate in the Miss World international beauty pageant.

This year's edition will be held on November 30 in Sanya, China, where Malta will be competing with 112 other countries.

Seventeen-year-old Katrina Pavia from Gozo came in second followed by 18-year-old Daphne Gatt from Qawra.

Other titles went to Jasmine Azzopardi for Best Photogenic Looks; Tanya Joy Demarco, Best Personality; Annemarie Galea, Miss Beautiful Hair; Charlene Debattista, Best Appearance; Diane Debrincat, Campari Title; Noella Borg, Face of Gwida and Alessia Falletta Waste, Most Voted by Televiewers of the search for Miss World Malta.
