The Society for Christian Doctrine - MUSEUM - is holding a series of activities to mark the sainthood of its founder Dun Gorg Preca and the first centenary from its founding.

The society has invited local and foreign artists resident in Malta to take part in an art exhibition. The theme of the exhibition, which is being held at the MUSEUM headquarters in Blata l-Bajda, is Dun Gorg - The Man And His Mission.

One of the artists taking part is Charles Cassar with his painting called Kif Nafu Jien (This Is How I Know Him).

Mr Cassar said that St Gorg Preca lived his life in the steps of Jesus, making humbleness and sainthood a living experience. The painting depicts his life and his teachings and his devotion to Our Lady. It also shows the expansion of the MUSEUM society.

Mr Cassar's works are mainly executed in mixed media.
