A commemorative ceremony marking the first centenary of the birth and the 10th anniversary of the death of poet Gorg Pisani was held last Wednesday near the monument dedicated to his memory in Victoria. The event was attended by schoolchildren. Speeches and poems were read, including one by his son Paul George Pisani, followed by the laying of flowers.
