FABRI. On August 17, at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, England, CHRISTINE, née Lanfranco, passed away after a short illness comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alfred, her son Simon and his wife Rosa Eva, her daughter Angela and her husband Simon Montanaro and her beloved grandchildren David, Emma and Nick. She also leaves to mourn her loss her brotherFrancis Lanfranco and his wife Claire, her brother Peter Lanfranco, her sister Berta and her husband Michael Fenech, her brother-in–law George Fabri and his wife Josette, her brother-in-law David Fabri and other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

FARRUGIA. On August 17, PETER, at the age of 78, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. A wonderful husband, father and grandfather, he leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Catherine, née Vella, his children Marie and her husband Effie, Victor and his wife Sandra, John and his wife Jacqueline, his grandchildren Claire, Daniel, David, Joanna and Patricia, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Għaxaq cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

STIVALA. On August 18, at his residence, ALFRED, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lilian, his children Harold and Ruth, their family and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ZAMMIT TABONA. On August 16, MARIA, née Refalo, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by her son Joseph and his wife Susan, her daughter Jennifer and her husband David Soler, her grandchildren Nicola and Simon Paris, Justin and Catherine, Simon, Thomas, Miguel and Jola, and Andrew, her great-grandchildren, her sister Rose Mercieca, her brother Vincent and his wife Rosemarie, numerous relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for the Balluta Parish Church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by a private burial at the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

COST CHRETIEN – GLORIA, née Farrugia, on her fifth anniversary. Never forgotten by her husband Noel and family.

EBEJER – GUIDO. Today being the first month of his demise. Sadly missed by his wife Maria, his children Sandra, Arturo and Franco, his sisters Agatha, Emma and Victoria and their respective families. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FALZON – FRANCIS. In loving memory of a dear father and grandfather, today being the 27th anniversary of his passing away. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Sr Maria of Il-Qaddejja taċ-Ċenaklu, Florence and her husband Sergio Scotti, andhis only granddaughter Francesca. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MALLIA – RONALD. Today his fourth anniversary. Loved and treasured by his wife Gladys, children and family. Masses for the repose of his soul will be said today at 9am and 7pm at St Julian’s parish church.

PACE – EDITH. Remembering a dear mother with love and affection, especially today the second anniversary of her meeting with the Lord. Her daughter Joan and her husband David, and grandsons Zachary, Bernie and Jonathan.

PACE – EDITH ANNE, née Borg. Cherished memories of a dear mother and nanna, today the second anniversary of her demise. Mother, deep in our hearts you’ll always stay, loved and missed every day. Her daughters Roxanne, Erika and her husband Hector, grandchildren Robert, Joseph, Marija-Evelina, Veronica-Anne and Edward-Hector. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
