The Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants recently acknowledged Lovage Bistro with a prestigious award, placing it among the top local restaurants. The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Awards are based on an objective customer survey and take into account the overall rating of restaurants based on food, service and ambience.

This year’s survey results were based on a sample of 1,976 diners who eat out an average of twice per week. The publication is now in its 16th edition.

“Within the competitive restaurant business, receiving such an award over 1,800 other restaurants is definitely an honour,” said chef Matthew Schembri.

Lovage Bistro is situated in St Paul’s Bay. Schembri’s brainchild, Lovage is a winning combination of a warm ambience and first-rate service. Diners can expect a selection of delectable Mediterranean-based dishes including pasta, meat, fish and salads, all at good value for money. Two of the bistro’s specialties are the pork belly and the mouth-watering warm Valrhona Chocolate Fondant. The bistro also enjoys outdoor seating and a bar. For bookings, call 2157 2088.
