Many moons ago the then British Prime Minister, Harold Macmillan – one of the most honest and polished politicians the UK has seen in a very long time – seeing his government was in trouble, carried out a savage Cabinet reshuffle.
The then leader of the Liberal Party commented waspishly (in Charles Dickens fashion “No greater love has this, than a man lay down his friends for his life.”
May I recommend this policy to the beleaguered Joseph Muscat?
