A 14-year-old German boy was seriously injured on Monday afternoon when he was hit by a car in Swieqi.

The police said he was hit by a Dacia Logan car on Triq Sant’ Andrija, Swieqi, at 4.45pm

The car was being driven by a 59-year-old man from Rabat.

Magistrate Joe Mifsud is holding an inquiry.
