A 57-year-old man from Marsascala was seriously injured in a construction site accident on Thursday morning.

The victim was working on a site in St Joseph Street, Żabbar when he fell the height of one storey at 11.30am.  

He was treated at a health centre and transferred to hospital. 

A magisterial inquiry is underway.
