Two popular Danish singers, one of whom is also a renowned actress, will be in Malta this weekend to participate in the Miss Italia Nel Mondo - Malta gala evening to be held today at the Westin Dragonara Resort.

Singers Anita Lerche and Gry Bay will be here on the initiative of a group which is working towards closer links between Malta and Denmark, particularly in the cultural field.

This group was set up by former Maltasong chairman Charlo' Bonnici and former Danish Head of Delegation for Eurovision Morten Carlsson.

Miss Italia Nel Mondo will be aired live on Net TV at 8.30 p.m.
