A joint venture agreement has been signed between Panta Lesco Ltd and Schindler, a major Swiss company dealing in elevators and escalators.

The new company Schindler Services Ltd, registered in Malta with a Schindler majority shareholding, started operations under Schindler management last month. Schindler provides servicing, maintenance, after-sales support, modernisation and upgrading of existing lifts.

Panta Lesco has over 600 lift installations and 60 escalators in Malta.
