A 52-year-old man was seriously injured on Wednesday after falling a height of about one storey from a ladder.

The incident happened at around 1.30pm in a private residence in Triq San Edwardu, in Birżebbuġa.

The man was assisted by a medical team before he was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
