Three puppies are being given the chance to find a cosy home that would save them from a miserable life roaming the streets.

The healthy 10-week-old puppies, crossbreds between a Labrador and Tal-kacca, were picked up by Alfred Fenech, of the Abandoned Animals Association, from Marsa yesterday.

An employee of the Refuse Collection Cooperative told Mr Fenech the dogs were born in the cooperative's compound and started wandering about. Their mother was also rounded up and will be spayed.

Young AAA helper Evair Grech named the puppies after footballers Manuel, Aldair and Leman.

Anyone wanting to home the puppies can contact Mr Fenech on 9946 4888.
