A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Rabat died this afternoon in a collision with a Nissan X-Trail at Manikata. His Suzuki also hit a Mazda 323 car.

The accident happened at about 5.30pm. near the church. 

The man died on the spot. The other drivers were not hurt.

The road was closed while a Magisterial inquiry was held.
