Prime Minister Joseph Muscat left Malta for Istanbul this evening for the United Nations ‘World Humanitarian Summit’. 

He will be joining other world leaders, civil society representatives, national and international NGOs, affected communities and other stakeholders in a summit aimed at saving lives and exploring ways of reducing hardship at times of crisis.

Dr Muscat is accompanied by Parliamentary Secretary Deborah Schembri.
