A small fire in a Paceville block caused alarm but no casualties on Monday morning.

The blaze was reported at around 9.45 in Triq Elija Zammit. It is believed to have started from an air compressor in a garage close to Vecchia Napoli restaurant.

Firefighters were quickly on the scene.
