The Prime Minister late yesterday re-inaugurated 'Misrah iz-Zjara Papa Gwanni Pawlu II' in Mellieha.

The square, considered as the historic heart of Mellieha, has been repaved. The old trees have been replanted elsewhere and replaced by others. The area now includes a water feature, new lighting and street furniture.

The project was carried out by the local council.
