Fogg Insurance Agencies Limited last week announced that one of the companies it represents has officially changed its name from Norwich Union International Company Ltd (NUILL) to Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited to reflect its new ownership by the Argus Group in Bermuda.
The name change stems from the Argus Group's November 2004 purchase of NUILL, the leading insurer in Gibraltar, with more than 50 per cent share of the market, which specialises in property and motor insurance.
While the official name has changed, the company's products, services, contact information and physical location all remain unchanged. It continues to be represented in Malta by Fogg Insurance Agencies Ltd, where there will be no change in staff.
Clients can expect the same high-level of attention and service that have made Fogg and NUIIL leaders in their field for more than 30 years.
Dorothy Simms, chairman and managing director of Fogg Insurance Agencies Ltd, said:
"It's business as usual at the new Argus Insurance Company (Europe) Limited. Even though the name has been changed, the employees and services at Fogg Insurance Agencies Ltd are exactly the same. We encourage clients to speak with and deal directly with their regular contacts."
Starting next month, policyholders will see the change reflected on their insurance documentation.
