Times of Malta says documented proof has for the first time emerged showing the Prime Minister’s chief of staff Keith Schembri has a company in the secretive money laundering and tax haven of the British Virgin Islands. In another story, it reports Opposition leader Simon Busuttil saying that the action taken by Allied Newspapers when confronted by allegations involving its managing director and the Prime Minister’s chief of staff set an example to the government.
The Malta Independent refers to a statement released by Mr Schembri in which he categorically denied all accusations being levelled at him.
